ROME
Although all roads lead to Rome, I had not yet visited this beautiful city. In November, 2019, we decided to spend three days exploring the Italian capital before traveling on to a planned tour of Sicily. Hoping to maximize our time, we hired Giulia Alfieri of Essence of Rome to lead us around. This decision proved to be a fabulous choice as she expertly guided us through the city center, Colosseum, Palantine, Forum, and Vatican City. Her depth of knowledge and delightful manner truly enhanced our visit.
