PAPUA NEW GUINEA 2023 II – THE WITU ISLANDS
In May, 2023 we were finally able to return to one of our favorite dive destinations – Papua New Guinea’s New Britain Island – to dive in the Bismarck Sea on the M.V.Oceania. The images in this gallery were taken mid-way through our trip when we spent several days diving in the Witu Islands. North West of Kimbe Bay, this area offers sea mounts and black sand bays around the islands. Sites we visited included Dicky’s South, Wire Bay, Charlotte’s Reef, Glenny’s Finger, the Crater, Bat Cave, Krakafat, Lama II, and Barney’s Reef.
