SLOVENIA III – PIRAN AND VIPAVA VALLEY
After numerous cancellations and reschedules, we were finally able to return to Eastern Europe in September, 2022 and join Shannon Essa of Grapehops Tours (Grapehops.com) for another spectacular wine tour. On this trip, we visited Slovenia and Friuli in northeastern Italy. The images in this gallery were taken at Piran, Vipava Valley, and Goriska Brda, all well known locations in Slovenia. In Vipava valley we visited Tilia Winery, Vipavski Križ, Vino Marc, Lepa Vida Winery, and Slap where we slept in an underground hotel (Majerija)!! The next day we visited Movia Winery in Goriska Brda before moving on to Italy
